A SNOW Memory…

Ready, Set, SNOW!

Hopefully you have been following us on FirefliesBLOG and have been inspired by one of our books about snow.

If you haven’t already downloaded this month’s booklist, you will find it here:

BOOKLIST: Winter Fun in the SNOW

We encourage you to write down a simple memory – a moment from your past – that has to do with playing in the snow.

Add to your family library by creating H2L memory books.  Here’s how:

  1. Choose a book from the list above (or a favorite from your past).
  2. Print or write your snow-story on acid free paper and insert a picture if you have one.
  3. Place your heritage story in the back of your book with photo corners or glue dots and present your H2L book to your children/grandchildren/great-grands for their birthday, Christmas, Easter…or just because it’s Tuesday and you love them.

Telling the stories that shaped us
to help create our children’s
sense of belonging.

Gil will be sharing an audio story from his past:  A Perfect Winter Day

Mary will share Snow Walk, a sweet Daddy/Daughter moment that she placed inside her H2L book, Owl Moon.
